Discovery Phase & Analysis
Who are the target users?
What are their (client/stakeholder) business goals?
Expectations – what do they expect at the end of the design process?
Considerations- things to take into consideration when designing the product
Analyze given information and conduct market and competitive research
Create SWOT Analysis to identify strength, weaknesses and opportunities
Identify and understand the client’s requirements and goals
Document requirements specifications provided by the client
Create storyboards and task flows and diagrams
Identify users’ roles and tasks
Break down requirements and create user stories
Include acceptance criteria for each story
Create timeline and roadmap
User Research, Personas & Scenarios
Identify the target users, their needs, their frustrations and motivations
Conduct user research such as interview, surveys, diary gathering, guerrilla research and more
Create user personas based on collected data
Establish a point of view to visualize the design process
Implement client’s design brief
Prepare and plan design phase
Design Phase- Sketching, Illustration & Mocks
Resarch, identify and create personas to keep users in mind during design phase
Sketch out task flows, storyboards , user journeys and wireframes
Start illustrating icons and assets upon approval of sketched designs
Mockup the product either in low-fi or hi-fi
